Terms of use

Last updated 2026-08-11. These cover this website. They do not cover client work.

This is not the client agreement

If Smith Technologies builds something for you, the terms that matter are in the written scope and agreement for that project — what is being built, what it costs, who owns the result, and what happens if either side walks away. Nothing on this page overrides or replaces that document, and nothing on this page creates an agreement to do work.

The content here

The words, code samples, designs and marks on this site belong to Smith Technologies. You are welcome to read them, quote them with attribution, and link to them. Please do not republish the site wholesale or present it as your own.

Accuracy

Descriptions of past work are accurate to the best of my knowledge at the time of writing. Technical descriptions are simplified for a general reader. Nothing here is a guarantee of any particular result on your project — every project is different, and anyone who promises otherwise before seeing yours is guessing.

Liability

This site is provided as-is. Smith Technologies is not liable for any loss arising from relying on information published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Contacting me

Use the contact form or email scott@smithtechnologies.io. Sending a message does not create a contract or an obligation on either side — it starts a conversation.
